Every year during our CONNETIX Sale, our inbox and Instagram fill with questions from parents trying to choose the perfect set - so we’ve rounded up the most common ones (and our honest answers) right here.
We’ll keep adding to this guide as new questions pop up, so if there’s something you’re wondering, drop a comment below or flick us a DM on Instagram - we’d love to include it next time!
I have three kids and no packs yet - where should I start?
With three children I would recommend starting with a Creative Pack or Mega Pack. It gives enough pieces for multiple kids to build at once (and avoid arguments over squares!).
💬 Pro Tip: Add a set of Base Plates early - they make big builds more stable.
We already have a Ball Run - what should we get next?
We tend to recommend getting a Ball Run as an add on pack, but as you already have it - I'd recommend more tiles that compliment the Ball Run, so you have plenty of build options going forward! I'd suggest a Creative Pack and then the Square Pack or Rectangle Pack to further enhance those Ball Runs!
Rainbow or Pastel - what’s better?
Honestly? Both! The pieces are identical, it’s just personal preference.
Rainbow is bold, bright, and classic and supports early learning with the primary colours while Pastel has a softer look that blends beautifully with neutral playrooms.
Lots of families mix and match - it all connects together!
🌈 Pro Tip: We’re often asked why the Pastel Packs have more pieces - it’s simply because there are 8 colours in the Pastel range and 6 in the Rainbow.
What age are CONNETIX suitable for?
Officially, CONNETIX are recommended for ages 3+, but little ones can join in too (with supervision). Start with flat play and matching shapes or colours. Older kids (and adults!) can spend hours engineering creative builds - it really grows with them.
