Maria Isabel Sánchez Vegara, born in Barcelona, Spain, is a writer and creative director in constant search of new concepts for children's books and the author of the multimillion-copy bestselling Little People, BIG DREAMS series of picture books that explore the lives of outstanding people. Working for more than fifteen years for clients in top advertising agencies, her books combine creativity with learning, aiming to establish a new and fresh relationship between children and pop culture. Isobel Ross studied Fine Art at the Arts University Bournemouth, graduating in 2014. She works using a mixture of collage and digital methods. A lot of her work is based on childhood memories and she has a great interest in social history. Having worked in the hotel industry in the 1970s and 80s, she enjoys learning about and recording the changes in Bournemouth, the seaside town where she lives.
